Another trip to Anvil proved to be a fun one. This has to be one of my favorites - but I think that is because it is rum based! It is a Dewberry Swizzle and features Nicaraguan Rum, Lime, Falernum, Dewberry Jam. I love a good handcrafted cocktail!

Time for a Midnight Meltdown
My favorite Tex-Mex spot in Houston is Pappasito's and I have had many margaritas there and this one takes the award not only for prettiest, but also for tastiest. It's a Midnight Meltdown featuring Hornitos Plata tequila, fresh blackberries, blueberries, lime juice & organic agave nectar on top of Pappasito’s Original frozen margarita. YUM!
A little Margarita with my Magic...
Anytime I make it to Orlando, a trip to Disney is in order. This trip was to the Margarita Bar at Downtown Disney. I don't know why it took me so long to discover this hidden gem, but now I stop there any time I am shopping. My favorite is the Wildberry Margarita featuring 1800 Silver Tequila, Monin Wildberry, Lime Juice, & Sweet and Sour. A nice way to escape from the Disney Magic...
Georgia on My Mind
While at Anvil; I had to try their twist on a Mint Julep - The Georgia Mint Julep featuring Cognac, Peach Liqueur, Turbinado, & Mint

Mandarin Blossom Margarita!
The Mandarin Blossom Margarita was my favorite of the trio of Margaritas we had for St. Patrick's Day at Pappasito's Cantina. It was made with Familia Camarena Silver 100% pure agave tequila, Hangar One Mandarin Blossom vodka, agave nectar & fresh orange & lime juices.
St. Patrick's Day - Texas Style!
The only way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Texas - Margaritas for all at Pappasito's Cantina. The three drinks featured here are the Mandarin Blossom Margarita, the Platinum Margarita, and The Wave, a blend of Sangria and a Margarita.

French 750
One of my favorites, a French 750 from Prohibition Craft of Cocktails .
This is a take on the classic French 75 but using high strength Tanqueray 10 Gin, Perrier Jouet Champagne, strawberries and pop rocks candy to give this ten times the kick – alas the name ‘French 750′
